This page is maintained by EnterpriseEvent to explain how we handle personal information. It is written to reflect UK GDPR principles and should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions and Cookie Policy.
Who we are
EnterpriseEvent ("we", "us") operates a corporate event supplier introduction network. If you have any questions about this policy, email support@enterpriseevent.co.uk.
What we collect
- Brief details you submit (event type, date, location, guest count, services required, budget guidance, description).
- Contact details you provide (name, work email, company, optional phone).
- Account information for suppliers (email, company details, application information, verification information, portfolio evidence and uploaded files).
- Technical data (IP address, browser type, cookies you have consented to).
How we use it
- To review your brief and manage introductions with suitable suppliers.
- To operate, secure and improve the EnterpriseEvent service.
- To send operational emails about your brief or account.
- To send marketing emails only when you have opted in separately.
Your contact details stay private
Your contact details are never shared with suppliers until you have approved an introduction request. This is a core product principle, not an option.
Legal bases
We process personal data on the bases of (a) performance of a contract when you use our service, (b) our legitimate interest in operating the network, (c) consent for optional analytics, marketing and non-essential cookies, and (d) legal obligations where they apply.
Sharing
We share information with relevant service providers that help us operate the platform, including hosting, database, storage, email and payment infrastructure providers. These providers operate on our behalf under appropriate contracts. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and administer the service, maintain appropriate business and transaction records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect the security and integrity of the platform. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and why we hold it. You may request deletion of your personal data, although we may need to retain certain information where required or permitted by law.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact support@enterpriseevent.co.uk. You may also lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
